GCR Golf Cart Rentals & Sales – Terms and Conditions

General Agreement
By renting or purchasing a golf cart from GCR (Golf Cart Rentals & Sales), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully, as they are legally binding upon confirmation of reservation or purchase.

Rental Terms

Rental Period
The rental period starts as specified in your reservation and ends when the golf cart is returned. Late returns may incur hourly or daily fees.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • 48+ hours in advance: Full refund.

  • 24–48 hours in advance: 50% refund.

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund.

  • Early returns or weather conditions: No refund.

Modifications
Changes to your reservation must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. A change fee may apply.

Breakdowns and Replacements
If your rental cart experiences a mechanical issue not caused by misuse, GCR will provide a replacement. If unavailable, a refund will be issued.
Damage due to negligence, misuse, or accidents is not covered.

Sales Terms

Warranty
All golf carts sold by GCR include a 1-year limited warranty covering factory defects and mechanical failures under normal use.

  • Warranty does NOT apply to vehicles damaged by misuse, accidents, or neglect.

  • Warranty service must be performed or authorized by GCR.

Returns and Refunds
Golf cart sales are final. However, returns may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of delivery, only if the cart is unused and in original condition. A restocking fee may apply.

Use and Responsibility

Prohibited Uses (Rental Only)
The renter agrees not to:

  • Drive under the influence.

  • Overload the cart beyond seating capacity.

  • Drive outside of permitted areas.

  • Allow unlicensed drivers.

  • Use the cart for illegal or commercial purposes not approved by GCR.

Renter Liability
Renters are responsible for all damages during the rental period. GCR may request a damage deposit, refundable upon safe return.

Condition and Return

  • Carts are delivered in working condition. The renter must notify GCR of any prior damage before use.

  • Return carts in clean and undamaged condition to avoid fees.

Loss, Theft, and Insurance

  • The renter is responsible for lost or stolen carts and may be charged the replacement cost.

  • GCR provides basic liability coverage. Additional insurance is recommended.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Do not attempt unauthorized repairs. Contact GCR for assistance.

  • Excessively dirty returns may incur a cleaning fee.

Limitation of Liability
GCR is not responsible for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages from cart use.

  • Loss or theft of personal property.

Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Legal matters will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Punta Cana courts.

By renting or purchasing a vehicle from GCR, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Misuse or violation may result in cancellation, fees, or legal action.
