GCR Golf Cart Rentals - Terms and Conditions


Rental Agreement

By renting a golf cart from GCR (Golf Carts Rentals), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before signing or making a reservation. These terms are legally binding once the rental agreement is executed.

Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time specified in your reservation confirmation and ends when the golf cart is returned to the designated GCR location.

Late returns may incur additional fees, charged per hour or day, depending on the delay.

Cancellations and Changes

Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the reservation will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the reservation will receive a 50% refund.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the reservation start time.

Changes to Reservation

Changes to your reservation (such as extending rental periods or changing cart types) must be requested at least 24 hours before the rental start time. Changes are subject to availability.

A fee may apply for significant changes (e.g., switching to a different cart model or location).

Assumption of Risk

By renting and operating a golf cart from GCR, the renter acknowledges the inherent risks associated with the use of motorized vehicles and agrees to assume all responsibility for any injury, death, or property damage caused during the rental period.

GCR is not liable for any incidents, accidents, or damage to the renter, passengers, or third parties during the use of the golf cart.

Prohibited Uses

The renter agrees to not use the golf cart in the following ways:

Operating the golf cart under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability.

Carrying more passengers than the cart’s seating capacity allows.

Driving off designated roads, paths, or areas where golf carts are not permitted.

Using the cart for any illegal activity or commercial purposes not approved by GCR.

Allowing unlicensed or unauthorized individuals to operate the cart.

Responsibility of the Renter

The renter is fully responsible for the safe operation and security of the golf cart during the rental period. Any damage to the cart, whether accidental or intentional, will be charged to the renter. In the event of significant damage, the renter will be responsible for the full cost of repairs or replacement. GCR reserves the right to charge a damage deposit at the beginning of the rental, which will be refunded upon satisfactory return of the golf cart.

Condition and Return of Golf Cart

Golf carts are delivered in good working condition. The renter must inspect the golf cart and notify GCR of any existing damage before use.

The renter agrees to return the cart in the same condition as received, aside from normal wear and tear. Failure to return the cart in proper condition may result in repair or cleaning fees.

Return Time: Golf carts must be returned by the end of the rental period as outlined in the reservation. Late returns will incur additional fees.

Safety Regulations

Seat belts must be worn at all times when the golf cart is in motion.

Obey all traffic laws and local regulations regarding the use of golf carts.

The renter must drive at a safe and appropriate speed, especially in residential areas and shared pathways.

Theft or Loss

In the event of theft or total loss of the golf cart, the renter is responsible for the replacement cost of the cart. GCR recommends that the renter secure the golf cart when not in use and avoid leaving valuables unattended.

Insurance

GCR provides basic liability coverage for the operation of its golf carts, but renters are encouraged to purchase additional insurance if desired. The renter assumes full responsibility for any damage or liability beyond the scope of GCR’s insurance.

Maintenance and Repairs

If the golf cart breaks down during the rental period due to mechanical failure, the renter must contact GCR immediately. Unauthorized repairs are prohibited. GCR will arrange for repairs or a replacement golf cart if needed.

Cleaning Fee

A cleaning fee may be charged if the golf cart is returned excessively dirty or with trash inside. Please ensure that personal belongings, trash, and debris are removed from the cart before returning it.

Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only under the following circumstances:

Cancellations that meet the criteria outlined in Section 3.

Equipment failure or unavailability of a replacement cart.

No refunds will be given for early returns or dissatisfaction with weather conditions.

Limitation of Liability

            GCR is not responsible for:

Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of the golf cart.

Loss or damage to personal property during the rental period.

Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from this contract must be settled in the jurisdiction of Punta Cana courts.

By signing this agreement or completing the reservation process, the renter agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of the above may result in additional fees, immediate termination of the rental agreement, or legal action.

 

GCR Golf Carts Sales – Terms and Conditions


Thank you for choosing GCR (Golf Carts Rentals) for your golf cart purchase. The following Terms and Conditions govern the sale of golf carts and related products by GCR. By purchasing a golf cart from GCR, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Purchase Agreement

By placing an order and purchasing a golf cart from GCR, you agree to be bound by this sales agreement, which outlines your responsibilities and rights as a buyer.

2. Product Availability

  • Availability: All golf carts are subject to availability. We strive to keep our inventory updated, but if your selected cart is no longer available, GCR will notify you promptly and offer alternative options or a full refund.
  • Customization: Some golf carts may be customizable. Details of available options (such as color, accessories, etc.) will be provided at the time of purchase.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices: All prices are listed in USD (or DOP for local purchases) and are subject to change without notice. Once an order is confirmed, the price at the time of purchase will apply.
  • Taxes and Fees: The buyer is responsible for paying applicable taxes, duties, or other charges related to the purchase.
  • Payment Terms: Full payment is required before the delivery or pickup of the golf cart unless otherwise agreed. We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other approved payment methods.
  • Financing: If financing options are available, details will be provided at the time of purchase. Financing terms are subject to approval.

4. Delivery and Pickup

  • Delivery: GCR offers delivery services for golf carts within [defined areas]. Delivery times and fees will be communicated during the purchasing process.
  • Pickup: Buyers also have the option to pick up their golf cart at our [store/showroom]. Pickup appointments must be scheduled in advance.
  • Inspection Upon Delivery: Upon delivery or pickup, the buyer is responsible for inspecting the golf cart. Any issues or discrepancies must be reported immediately. Once the cart is accepted, it is considered to be in satisfactory condition.

5. Warranty

  • Manufacturer’s Warranty: All new golf carts come with the manufacturer’s warranty. The details of this warranty, including coverage for repairs and parts, will be provided at the time of purchase. Warranty claims must be made directly with GCR or the manufacturer, depending on the terms.
  • Used Carts: Used or refurbished golf carts may come with limited warranties or be sold “as is.” Any warranty coverage will be explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
  • Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines.

6. Returns and Exchanges

  • Return Policy: Golf carts can be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided that the cart is in new, unused condition and has not been driven beyond initial testing.
    • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of [insert percentage] may apply to all returns.
  • Non-Refundable: Custom orders or modified golf carts are non-refundable.
  • Exchange: Exchanges are allowed within 7 days of purchase, subject to cart availability and approval by GCR.

7. Condition and Maintenance

  • Maintenance Recommendations: Buyers will receive a maintenance guide to ensure the long-term durability and performance of the cart. Following these guidelines will help maintain any applicable warranties.

8. Limitation of Liability

GCR is not responsible for:

  • Any damages or injuries resulting from the improper use, maintenance, or operation of the golf cart.
  • Incidents caused by modifications or unauthorized alterations to the cart after purchase.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the sale or use of the golf cart.

9. Customer Responsibility

  • Proper Use: Buyers are responsible for using the golf cart in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Misuse or reckless operation voids any warranty and may result in liability for damages or injuries.
  • Insurance: GCR recommends that buyers obtain appropriate insurance coverage for their golf cart. GCR is not liable for any theft, damage, or personal injury arising from the use of the cart.

10. Modifications

  • Authorized Modifications: Any modifications must be performed by GCR or an approved dealer to maintain warranty coverage.
  • Unauthorized Modifications: GCR is not responsible for any issues that arise from unauthorized modifications or repairs.

11. Transfer of Ownership

Upon completion of payment and delivery, ownership of the golf cart is transferred to the buyer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure proper registration and licensing (if required by local laws) following the transfer.

12. Privacy Policy

Personal information provided during the purchase process will be protected in accordance with GCR’s [Privacy Policy]. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required to process your payment, arrange delivery, or comply with legal obligations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from the sale or use of a golf cart will be settled in the courts located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

GCR reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website and apply to future transactions.
